The city of Montreal has celebrated St Patrick’s Day with a downtown parade every year since 1824. It’s the oldest and largest after New York City’s parade. The parade starts at noon at the corner of Fort and De Maisonneuve streets.

Have you noticed that Atlantic Canadians like to name their snowfalls?  After the equinox, we’ll be watching for the Sugar Snow, the Smelt Snow, and the Robin Snow.  According to Grandma, all of that snow comes……
